Our goal at Stadarhus is to simply breed the best horses we possibly can. That means talented horses with good conformation and great temperament.

We are particularly interested in good tölt and pace. However, some of the mares in our breeding program are four gaited to maintain strong basic gaits and big movement. We however try to breed to stallions with good pace, with exceptions of course.

We are also very interested in lightly built horses with good neck and topline and good leg quality. It is just so much nicer to work with a horse whose neck and topline allows him to carry himself correctly. Lightly built horses are more likely to stand out in a group and having strong legs is essential for a long life of good performance.

When we choose stallions to breed to, we try to keep the above in mind. We look for very talented stallions with great gaits, good neck, proportions and leg quality. Click on the images above to see our mares.
